On August 22, 2007, Mr. Chan Pak Ying, general manager of Leading Star Trading Co., attended the donating ceremony for Land-Kid’s Scholars in Meihekou Fifth High School, Jilin province. On the ceremony, Mr. Chan signed an agreement with Meihekou Municipal Government that Leading Star Trading Co. will donate at least 500, 000 RMB every year to the Scholars’ Fund. The fund will help the poor high school graduates who have been admitted to college but have difficulty in paying tuitions.

  Land-Kid’s Scholars has an exclusive account managed by Jilin Charity Association, Meihekou Education Sectors and Communist Youth League who will fulfill the duties of a donee. The poor students who meet the standards will receive 3,000 RMB at a time. For this year 150 students benefited from the financial help.
